Bridesmaid dress dilemma- Something Blue Crew

Another day, another indigent bride. Organizing a wedding is a complicated process – there is so much to do and so much to purchase! Today’s wedding dilemma comes from a bride looking for a bridesmaid dress – once again, the colour is critical – a deep blue or navy is desired.

To begin, we have a stunning and reasonably priced electric blue ruffled shoulder dress from Warehouse. BCBG Max Azria has this striking bandeau style for a Herve Leger look (sexy bridesmaids!). Coast’s Clarissa bridesmaid dress is a classic in royal blue satin with a large ruffle. And one of my favourite boutiques, Chica, carries this cobalt blue capped sleeve satin dress (confession: I own the navy maxi version, which is divine!).

Dessy gowns, such as this navy Lela Rose bridesmaid’s gown, are widely available in bridal boutiques. Asos never ceases to amaze me; granted, this scalloped edge beaded gown isn’t a traditional bridesmaid dress, but it’s too much fun to leave out. Another option from Warehouse is more purple than navy, or how about the swathed fabric of Asos’s ottoman navy dress?

For a long bridesmaid dress, check out the Dresscode collection or the Anoushka G collection at House of Fraser – this is the grecian diamante one-shoulder gown. For a more affordable option, the Reiss Maxi Luz dress is currently on clearance – so stock up on a bargain bridesmaid look!
